SUPERINTENDENT – WET UTILITIES INSTALLATION – CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH

Qualifications

 

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience oversight of heavy civil underground wet utility installation

(water, storm sewer, drain).

· Minimum of 3 years hands on experience as a Foreman or Superintendent with underground wet utility installation.

· Oversee multiple projects.

· Clear driver’s license in the State of California required. (time of hire)

· Clear drug Screen / background check.

 

Responsibilities

 

· Implement and enforce company safety program.

· Pre-plan, schedule, and coordinate work with J&M Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and all other entities.

· Schedule, manage, and direct multiple field crews across multiple projects.

· Understand and execute project requirements and contracted scope of work.

· Identify scope changes and/or extra work and confirm written client authorization prior to proceeding.

· Verify site conditions, material availability and deliveries, construction staking, USA, and related prior to scheduling crews.

· Conduct daily dispatch coordination with Dispatcher (crew, aggregates, trucking, vendor) and Shop Superintendent (equipment, shoring, misc.).

· Resolve day-to-day job-site issues.

· Ensure quality control and compliance with all project documents.

· Prepare three-week look-ahead schedules for inclusion in the company Master Schedule.

· Assist team members and perform additional tasks as needed to support overall company operations.
