Job Description

Our client specializes in water/wastewater treatment plant electrical and control work. As a Project, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of assigned projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, and to the highest quality standards. Your strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills will be essential in driving project success and fostering positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and Owner to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
• Communicate directly with clients and project resources (subcontractors and vendors).
• Lead kick-off meetings, communicating project scope, goals, and responsibilities to team members.
• Coordinate and allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks, issues, and deviations from the plan in a proactive manner.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality specifications, and project milestones.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
• Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to clients and Owner.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned and best practices to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
• Participate in the closeout of projects including turnover of project files and record documents at project closure.

• Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field.
• 5 years proven experience in project management within the electrical industry, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Electrical or journeymen’s license certification.
